Mabel Poblet’s work becomes an exercise in honesty with herself and with society. The artist largely uses a self-referential discourse that deserves a second reading to search beyond the supposedly perfect world that she presents to us. Photography is her starting point. After intensely modifying it, it offers a scenario full of colors, lights and a sensation of brightness in the other person’s gaze, in which he leans in search of his reflection or prefers to look at himself from above to get to know himself even more, because an internal voice announces that it is It is necessary to do it that way, it is necessary to stop at the results and multiply the experience to make it collective.

Like a garden that prefers to be populated with small flowers, this visual resource becomes a shield that urgently needs to be examined by the gaze in order to vindicate silences and analyze gender issues. The feminine beats like small pangs in the heart of others.
