An architecture graduate from the Universidad Central de Las Villas, 1997his artistic practice encompasses different disciplines like photography, video, installation, objects,  performances and interventions in public spaces.

His most extensive series to date is Camuflajes, mostly composed of photographs, and in which, always wearing military camouflage attire and using self-referentiality, the artist embodies different characters or performs simple actions that are part of everyday life.

He has earned various acknowledgements, like the Curatorship Award for his exhibition Memorial in 2010, Curatorship Mention for Carne de Cañón in 2007; Sancti Spiritus City and Provincial Art Gllery awards in various editions; the Batiscafo residency sponsored by Gasworks, in England, in 2006; the Juan Francisco Elso creation grant and the Sancti Spiritus Provincial Plastic Arts Award in 2002.
