The Cuban Dagoberto Rodríguez exhibits at an important event of innovation, sustainability and culture in Europe.
The Cuban artist Dagoberto Rodríguez exhibits two installations in the courtyards of the Condeduque Center for Contemporary Culture in Madrid, within the framework of the MadBlue Summit 2022, one of the most important innovation, sustainability and culture events in Europe, which is held in the Spanish capital from January 27 to the beginning of May 2022, as reported by the institution in a press release.
Rodríguez’s installations are titled “Refugio” and “Los Umbrales”. The Time Out site describes the former as an artistic approach to loneliness and contemporary individualism. The second consists of a series of doors that represent infinite nature and the dreamlike passage that leads from darkness to light.
Both facilities will remain at the Condeduque Center until May 1, 2022.
MadBlue is a strategic project within the framework of the 2030 Agenda. It had its first edition in April 2021 with the aim of playing an important role in the recovery in which Madrid and Spain, in general, are immersed after the pandemic, through solutions focused on sustainability.
The project promotes responsible economic activity committed to the UN Decade of Ocean Sciences. This year it will adopt an urban concept to talk about energy, economy, Smart cities, mobility and environmental urbanism, as topics around the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
