During these days a regular celebration for world art reopened its doors in person. This is Art Basel Miami, which after two years of absence now received creators and artists from more than 250 galleries from around the world.
Art Basel Miami has its origin in the art fair in Basel (Switzerland) considered the largest in the world. This year, the Miami edition is part of the week of art in this American city, which is celebrated from December 2 to 5.
Of course, Cubans are not lacking at Art Basel Miami, and here are some of the participants in this year’s edition.
Fabelo Hung, Carlos Garaicoa and Carmen Herrera were some of the names of the Cuban artists who showed their works at Art Basel Miami.
Dagoberto Rodríguez was another of the contemporary Cuban artists in this celebration for world art. From the hand of Peter Kilchman Galerie comes this Cuban artist with his work “Dorian”.
Rachel Valdés was another of those present, with Pan American Art Projects and her work «Tierra».
The apartment gallery featured various Cuban artists. Ariamna Contino, Diana Fonseca, Eduardo Ponjuán, Reynier Leyva Novo, Ariel Cabrera Montejo, Nacho Martín Silva and Orestes Hernández are the names that have come to Art Basel Miami through this project.
Alexander Arrechea also came to Art Basel Miami. His work “Vanishing point series” was on display.
ClitSplash with the EROTIKA exhibition was the space where several Cuban artists also presented their works.
